Out on the boat

The day before vacation we went to Mason's parent's house to help load the truck and to be 2 hours closer to the beach. The boys wanted to take a quick ride on the boat so they could jump in the lake. They loved it!

After Desk Makeover

Here are the After pictures. Again don't look too close. Red is a hard color to paint. Mac loves it! John Lawrence helped Mac decorate his desk. I think it is cute, but you know it is killing me not to touch it.

Before Desk Makeover

Mac has wanted a desk in his room for a couple of months just like John Lawrence and we finally got around to making it happen. He said "You have to have a desk when you start school".  I had an old black desk that I have had since I was a young girl. The chair was from a garage sale about 2 years ago that cost 3 or 4 dollars. Mac chose the color red and while it sounded good at the time it turned out to be a really hard color to paint. After 6 coats of red paint, I finally called it done. Don't look too close! It is far from perfect, but Mac loves it and that is all that matters. I am sure the color will change in a few years anyway.

Lemonade Stand

During the last week of June when the temperature was over 100 degrees, John Lawrence decided to sell Lemonade. He carried an umbrella out to his stand to try and shield himself from the hot sun. He lasted about 1 hour and had a few neighbors customers that were gracious enough to stop for him. He loved it!

Dressing

Mason got both boys dressed for the wedding. I did not get good pictures because of the light, but I want to remember this sweet time. All three of boys were so handsome that night.

Favorite game of the summer

John Lawrence can't get enough of this game. He asks to play it all the time. I like it, but he really likes it and you have to commit to playing for a good two hours for sure. Mason has played it with him more than I have. That is what dads a
