Skate Park

I am back on the blog after a 5 month blog break. I have no good reason as to why I fell out the wagon~ it just happened. Now I have this huge task ahead of me to get caught back up. I realize now how few pictures I take when I am not blogging regularly and that makes me sad. Here goes nothing. I am back dating these posts to match when things really happened. It will not be normal blogging for awhile, but this is our family scrapbook (yearbook) and this is most important to my family.

Mason and I took the boys to the skate park one Sunday morning at 8am. We wanted to get there early, so the boys could have the park to themselves. They loved it and also love to go and just watch the older boys skate.

 

Frog Eggs

JL found these eggs on a stick in our little backyard pond. They looked so cool!

Bowling

We took the boys to Stars and Strikes to bowl, play laser tag and video games. We used a Groupon and surprised the boys with a fun afternoon. It always amazes me how grown up the boys are becoming.

 

 

Volcano

Mac got a Volcano kit from Sam and Hudson for Christmas and of course it became a family activity. It was really cool to build and erupt. I am not sure who had more fun the boys or Mason!

Ice Skating with Dad

We always take the boys Ice Skating the week between Christmas and New Years. We make a day of it. We go into the city, see Aunt Martha Jane and eat lunch. Mason always skates and I always take the pictures. It works out good. A good time was had by all.

 

 

Activities

Mason took control of the Gingerbread house building this year. He showed me up! I always have to use a glue gun to make it stay together, but not Mason. He used icing and it turned out great! I was really impressed. Guess who can do that from now on every year.

Another thing we did one night was surprise the boys at bed time with a ticket to go and look at Christmas lights complete with hot chocolate and popcorn. It was fun and will definitely be a new yearly tradition.

Christmas 2012

Here is our Christmas 2012 in pictures. We had a relaxing Christmas in Spartanburg this year. We went up on Sunday afternoon and the days flew by. It was a wonderful couple of days and something we look forward to every year.
