Happy Birthday John Lawrence

Happy Birthday John Lawrence! It seems like just yesterday we brought you home from the hospital to start our new life together. I can't believe you are five years old today. You are such a sweet son and brother. Your dad and I are so proud of you and you bring such joy to our life. You are the sweetest boy we know and you never let us forget your kind heart and spirit. Mac is blessed to have you as his big brother.

You love playing outside, baseball, power rangers, playing with mac, wii, and school. We could not ask for a better son! We hope you have a wonderful day!

We are having John Lawrence's power ranger putt putt golf party next weekend.

Wordless Wednesday

Baseball~Red Sox~

Baseball has started and tonight was John Lawrence's 3rd game of the season. He is on the Red Sox team this year and has really enjoyed playing. We have had games, batting practices (at a cage) and regular field practices each week to keep us busy.
Tonight we played against the Angels, which is the team that Walker is on. Nothing like some friendly family competition to keep things interesting. GranJan and Aunt Martha Jan came to the game as well. Thanks for coming I know that JL and Walker loved it.

The Angels won, but JL did great!

John Lawrence's Birthday Invitation

John Lawrence is turning 5 on March 27th and we are going to have his bday party on April 4th. He is so excited about it. We worked on his invitation this weekend and he loves it! I ordered it off of etsy. It is a great site for handmade items. JL picked out the invitation and Mason and I picked out the pictures. His party is going to be at The Oaks (Putt Putt Golf). He had his 3rd bday party there too. Hopefully the weather will cooperate!

Tin Signs

Here are the tin signs that I told you about. I won a blog giveaway from Shannon at Bless Our Nest and part of the giveaway was a $20 gift certificate from Cammi at Scribble it , so I decided to get a sign with our last name on it (I am going to change the ribbon to black and white, but wanted to go ahead and show a picture of them) and a sign that said Happy Holidays. I love them both! Cammi also threw in these little birds that are so cute! I put those in the laundry room.

~Spring~

Nothing says Spring time like birds and all things egg related. Shannon from Bless Our Nest just had her 200th Post Give away and I won! This is the first time I have won a blog give away! I was super excited to say the least.

These two pictures are from Shannon's blog.

She gave away an assortment of some of her favorite things. A birds nest, cloche, a wall hanging and a $20 gift certificate from Cammi from Scribble it . She even threw in a surprise~ little white bird. I put these in the master bath this weekend and was so excited to know that Spring is around the corner. I have not done much of anything in the master bath, so this was just what it needed to feel more complete. As you can see I am not done yet, but imagine this wall being completely empty before.

I ordered two tin signs from Cammi. One that has our last name it and another that says Happy Holidays for Christmas. I will take a picture of them when they come in.

Again, thanks Shannon for the wonderful items.

Snow

It finally snowed in Georgia this year! John Lawrence has been waiting for this day all winter. Who would have thought it would happen on March 1st? He loved every minute of it!

Praise Town

At John Lawrence's school every year they have a day where they turn the school into a town and everyone dresses up as a community helper. JL had a great time and said his favorite places were the Vet office and Pizza parlor. Someone brought real live kittens "1000 kittens were there" and "I ate 4 pieces of pizza".

Last year JL was a construction worker and this year he was a firefighter. I made the costume the day before. Not professional, but JL thought he looked good! I taped JL's arms that morning and Mac decided he needed his arms taped as well and wore his boots and safety goggles. This is how Mac looked when we went to Walmart. I can only imagine what people thought.

Birthday party

We went to Spartanburg for the day about 2 weeks ago for Riley Belle's Birthday party. She had it at Pump It Up (Jump Place) and the boys had a ball! Ellen and I took all 4 boys up together so we could carpool. We met Jan and Larry at Fuddruckers to eat before the party started.

Here is Riley Belle. Best picture I took of her
that night.
