John Lawrence can't get enough of this game. He asks to play it all the time. I like it, but he really likes it and you have to commit to playing for a good two hours for sure. Mason has played it with him more than I have. That is what dads a
Here is John Lawrence's first and last day of 2nd Grade. I really don't see a drastic change in these two pictures. He made great strides this year. We are so proud of him! I know he is ready for 3rd grade.
John Lawrence's End of the School Year party had a Going Camping theme. The kids made pictures and a frame that were camping related, wrote 2 postcards to classmates that will be mailed out over the summer, decorated campfire cupcakes and had big bowls of ice cream. Mac got to come and was right beside JL the entire time. He loved it. JL is a great big brother!
Mac graduated from Pre-K on May 15th. It was a sweet graduation and I did cry, which was a little unexpected. My baby is growing up so fast and as much as he reminds me daily that he is not a baby I still see glimpses of it, but it is happening less often. He is so excited about starting Kindergarten in the Fall that if we are not careful this one will wish away summer.
We are so proud of you and know you will do great things! We love you.
John Lawrence declares that Field Day is the best day of the entire school year. It was a great day and the weather was perfect. It was overcast, which meant it was not super hot. The kids had a blast!
The season ended the first week of May with soccer parties and trophies.
Mac's team was wonderful and the coach is awesome! Mac had the privilege of playing under coach Ian for two seasons and he learned so much. He is a tough soccer player and I am sure he will play again in the Spring. Mac want to play baseball in the Fall.
Mason was the coach for JL's team, so I did not get any pictures of his party (I was busy). JL enjoyed the season and he wants to try Lacrosse in the Fall. He is going to Lacrosse camp for a week this summer to get a feel for the sport. Wish us luck!
Mac and I and his best friend Kai went to Lego Land the first Friday in May. The boys were in the same class this year and became friends fast. They started having play dates on a weekly basis and it has turned into a really sweet friendship. Kai will also go to Duncan Creek next year and Mac is so happy. The boys had fun at Lego Land and want to go again soon.
