Kitchen Counter tops~ Before

We updated our kitchen this spring with new granite counter tops, sink, faucet and paint. It looks so much better and much more up to date. We used a great granite company called Legacy Granite . They were great to work with and we would highly recommend them to our friends and . We ran into a snag with our bar counter top, but they helped us fix the problem. Mason installed the sink, faucet and painted the kitchen. We are pleased with the results.

Here are the before pictures. I am embarrassed to show you my sink, but it was stained and would not come clean no matter how hard I tried. I was just as excited to get a new sink as I was to get the granite counter tops.

 

Last Day of School

I took a picture of the boys on the last day of school to compare how much they have changed since the first day of school. This school year flew by!

 

Gone Fishing

We have lake in our neighborhood that the boys can use to go fishing. It was their first time this summer. They both caught a fish that night!

End of the year school parties

Mac's theme was art and JL's was camping.

Mac's class made sand art and spin art. There was food too, but I did not get a picture of it. I was busy helping kids make the sand art.

JL's class wrote postcards to mail out over the summer to friends. We made the acorns and sticks for the party and they actually turned out cute. Food is a big deal to 3rd graders so that was more the priority than crafts.

Braves Game

As part of Mason's parents anniversary gift we got them Atlanta Braves tickets. We all went and tailgated in the parking a lot before the game.  It was calling for rain, but we missed! We had a great time!
