Skate Night

We went to Skate night for our school about two weeks ago and the boys had so much fun! Mac had about five kids from his class there and JL had three friends, which one was his cousin Walker. We went with Ellen, Walker and Henry. Their school hosts skate night about 4 times a year and this was our first time going. I can guarantee you we won't miss another one! This picture is of JL, Walker, Parker and Dylan. They were too cool to go out and do the Hokey Pokey, so they watched from the side.

Daphne and Charlie

They are best friends and love to snuggle with each other. Daphne is the calico and she literally had her leg and arm around him. They could not have been napping any closer together.

Last flag football game

Aunt Martha Jan came to Mac's last football game. He was excited and showed off for her. He loved getting a trophy from his coach. He had a  fun season and learned a lot. He wants to try tackle football in the future. We will see.

Night Under the Stars

In September our school had a fun night called Night Under the Stars. It is a night of tailgating and bringing a picnic dinner. The kids run around and socialize with friends. This is probably the kid's most favorite school event. They look forward to it every year and so do I. I love watching my kids enjoy school functions and being a part of the school family.

 I did not get a picture of Mac and his class tent. He was too busy playing and I forgot to snap more pictures.

**JL and I had to make 8 stars for the tent. JL is really into origami, so this was right up his ally. He did a great job. His teacher now has them hanging up in her classroom.

Hair Paint

The boys ask often if they can spray paint their hair. Last Saturday the boys asked and I said yes.

Lacrosse

John Lawrence is playing Lacrosse this Fall and really enjoying the sport. This summer he signed up for a one week lacrosse camp and decided it was something he wanted to try in the Fall. He loves the gear: helmet, mouth guard, arm pads, gloves, and a stick that is wrapped in tape. He has blisters on his hands and for that he is very proud. It has been fun watching him play a contact sport. It is different than anything he has ever played and he is having fun!

Isn't that really all that matters.

Botany Bay

We stopped off at Botany Bay on our way out of town from Edisto Beach to Charleston. It was Mason's birthday and Botany Bay was his wish list. We tried to go out and see it two other times and it was closed. The cool thing about Botany Bay is that it is a natural beach. You can not take shells home and there were a million awesome ones there. It was beautiful! I am so glad we got to see this piece of heaven.

Cousins

We went to Edisto Beach over Labor Day with my mom and Ron and Allison and her family. It was a great weekend! The boys had an absolute blast hanging out with their cousins Sam and Hudson. They went from the beach to the pool to the hot tub. I can't believe this is the only picture I managed to capture while we were there.

Best Friends

Mac's first best friend that is not a family friend just moved away about a month ago. Mac played with Finn every single day and I can tell he really misses his buddy.  Finn moved to Chicago and playtime is not the same without Mac's best friend.
