We went to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday and had the best time! We really love going to Washington Farms in Athens. There are so many things for the kids to do there that we ended up staying for 3 hours!

Change is good

We have always had a guestroom, but the boys are getting older and needed a playroom. So our guests will now sleep in John Lawrence's room. We moved the Queen bed into his room just for you.

Something for the little ones

We go to the library once a week for story time for the little ones. It is geared toward their age group and they love it! Most things we do are for the older boys and the little boys go along for the ride. This is all for them and they really enjoy it.




Also, Ellen and I switch off watching the little boys for each other one day a week. Ellen watches Mac on Tuesdays and I watch Henry on Thursdays. It gives the us a break and the boys like to play with each other without the older boys once in awhile. It is a win-win for all of us.

Driving with GranJan

We were over at Ellen's house and the boys wanted to take a ride with GranJan in her BMW. They loved going around the block! Mac somehow missed the ride. Mac decided he wanted to ride so we had to move the carseats out of my car and she drove both boys home to our house. GranJan said Mac enjoyed the breeze in his face and JL at this point was tired and grouchy so that is why he looks so mad. We played all day long!!!!

Little Mulberry Park

We went to the park a couple of weeks ago when the weather started to turn nice. We had a ball! We played on the playground, had a picnic and fed the ducks at the pond.

The Boys went to the Circus

The boys went to the circus in September, while I was on a Girl's Trip. The Pangles' went to the show as well. They had a great time; however, Mac did not sit down much for the show. He likes to walk around instead!!!

Soccer

I don't know how I forgot to post that John Lawrence is playing fall soccer this year. He started in September and is enjoying it. Here are some pictures from the season so far. He started in September and it ends November 8th.

Chocolate Milk!!!!!!

He has the biggest sweet tooth ever! If you remember, he is the reason we no longer have a cookie/treat jar on the counter. It is now in the pantry, but not being used. He can open the pantry door and freaks out until you give in and give him something. So we hide treats and he can't see them. I hide them in the grocery cart as well.

He loves chocolate, sugary candy, honey buns, cinnamon rolls and now chocolate milk.

get the Hersey's syrup and milk out
hand them to me
climb on top of the counter (without a chair)
grab a spoon
and make me fix him glass of chocolate milk

Today he probably had 5 glasses!!! He also had 3 meltdowns because I finally told him no!

He is a wild man! I am going to try and get pictures of it the next time we make a glass.

JL scores a goal !!!!!

John Lawrence scored his first goal of the season today! He was so proud. He also got player of the game (he let me know that you don't
get a ball for it like you do in baseball)!
